Prude
typography 3 : summer 2019 : a typographic publication
This project allowed us to explore the combination of typography, imagery, and graphic design elements in order to create a publication. Thus, Prude was born. Prude was a visual print inspired by the blog I have followed for many years, Killer and a Sweet Thang. The best way to describe KAAST is looking into your cool, big sister’s diary filled with sexual experiences, advice, talks about sexuality, femininity, gender, and so much more. It’s a place where I feel like I was able to break out of my naivety born out of twelve years of catholic school. I was excited to be able to visualize the blog I had become so fond of and make it into print that could welcome young people who needed a place to come to for knowledge they may be too shy to ask someone else.
